A Very Merry Breakfast – Pancakes
What you will need…
1 tsp baking powder
1 egg
½ cup milk
½ cup boiling water
Pinch of salt
How to…
- In a mixing bowl, sift flour and baking powder and add a pinch of salt and an egg.
- Add the milk and water to the mixture.
- Stir the mixture thoroughly until it becomes a smooth batter.
- Use an ice cream scoop to transfer some batter to a hot, non-stick frying pan.
- When the pancake bubbles, it’s time to flip it over and cook the other side.
- Once both sides are golden brown, the pancake is ready to serve.
- Garnish with a variety of toppings like whipped cream, syrup, cinnamon sugar or raspberry jam. Depending on size, makes about 12 – 24 pancakes.
