What an amazing bathroom transformation! This second bathroom was treated to a makeover of moody marbles, crisp whites and smoky greys to create a part elegant and part playful guest bathroom offering.
A floating gloss white bathroom vanity with complementary engineered marble counter, a rectangular, low profile vessel sink, and single column square profile faucet were selected. To accentuate the negative space under the vanity and give the illusion of extra space in this compact bathroom we incorporated undercabinet lighting. This features also acts as great mood lighting. An antique mirror framed vanity mirror and crystal bowl light fixture complete this vanity area’s makeover. A wall-mounted hard-wired dual lens make-up mirror is included for added convenience, while the backsplash is finished in random linear marble.
The custom walk-in shower was built using Schluter components and waterproofed with Kerdi membrane. The shower was equipped with an 8” square overhead rain showerhead, a handheld shower extension and a dual shower valve to control both. It is finished in a variety of marble selections including 12” x 24” Carrara for its walls and curb and mosaic marble for its pan. A quartz topped seat and a contemporary barn door sliding shower enclosure in 10mm tempered glass complete the shower transformation.
Carrara marble framed accent wall niches add functional storage and visual interest. With random linear marble rear walls, these niches offer additional storage and display opportunities in this compact bathroom. Gracing the vanity wall, a translucent shimmer metallic wallpaper reminiscent of high-end gift wrap adds an opulent, silvery warm glow to this bathroom masterpiece. A one piece Euro-style dual-flush toilet with enclosed trap is included in the streamlined design. All in all, this condo bathroom renovation gleams with style and practicality!
